American's have won! I can say this because American's have done more than what would be expected of any other nation in the world. We have removed the dictator and given many tools to the Iraqis. It is still too early to pull out but ACCOUNTABILITY is long overdue, long overdue!
During WW2 and after 9/11, many American's, great American's, felt a rush to help their country. We are a great nation and people!
What is sourly lacking in Iraq, and Islam, is the sense of duty to the country and the rest of the world. With a population of approximately 25 million, Iraq should have no problem filling the ranks of it's police and security forces. Yet, they can't. The citizens of Iraq want us to guide them, they need to be led like lemmings.
Forget it.
